Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Job Opportunity: Physician - OB/GYN

BJC Medical Group Sullivan Clinic is seeking a compassionate, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join an established, collaborative team at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital. This facility offers state-of-the-art amenities and advanced surgical technology in a supportive community located just an hour from St. Louis, Missouri.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care in both outpatient clinics and inpatient hospital settings.
• Manage a diverse patient panel with various women s health issues, including prenatal and postnatal care, gynecological surgeries, and preventative care.
• Conduct inpatient hospital rounds regularly or coordinate care coverage to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care providers and specialty consultants.
• Utilize advanced procedural rooms and new surgical technology, including a robot-assisted surgical system.
• Participate in a shared call schedule that supports work-life balance.
• Document all medical histories, exams, and treatment plans compliantly.
• Lead and mentor advanced practice providers and support staff, promoting a collaborative environment.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to BJC policies and safety protocols while participating in hospital outreach efforts.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to maintain the Labor & Delivery unit s high standards.
• Play a community-focused role at a critical access hospital serving a rural and underserved area.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN (required).
• Missouri medical license (or willing to obtain) (required).
• 2 years of experience in OB/GYN (highly preferred 2-5 years).
• DEA and CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start).
• Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred).
• Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active, required).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Missouri Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• DEA Registration.
• CSR/CDS Registration.
