Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Join Our Growing Team as an Interventional Cardiologist in Farmington, MO!

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join the expanding cardiology team at a noted health center in Farmington, Missouri, located approximately 90 minutes from St. Louis. This full-time opportunity provides mentorship from experienced physicians, access to state-of-the-art facilities, and a commitment to exceptional work-life balance with no after-hours STEMI call all within a physician-led organization that is nationally respected.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide both inpatient and outpatient cardiology care.
• Perform cardiac catheterizations, PCI, CardioMEMS, and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Utilize a newly renovated cath lab with dedicated procedural time.
• Participate in a 1:4 call schedule (one night per week and one weekend per month; minimal call-backs).
• Work alongside 2 Interventional Cardiologists, 1 Invasive Cardiologist, and 2 experienced APPs.
• Optional device/pacemaker implantation (a plus but not required).
• Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the BJC Medical Group Cardiac Service Line for coordinated care.
• Engage in program development and community outreach initiatives.
• Benefit from excellent mentorship for recent fellowship graduates.
• Not accepting Locums candidates
• Open to visa candidates
• BE in 2026 (preferred) and 2027 Interventional Cardiology Fellows welcomed
• Not open to 1099 candidates.

Qualifications

• Truly Board Eligible (Allows for new graduates Fellows) or Board Certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
• Missouri medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• DEA certification.
• Completion of Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
• Clean malpractice/license history (highly preferred).
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
• Visa support requirements (if applicable).

License and Certification Requirements

• Completion of Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
• DEA Certification.
• Missouri medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• CSR/CDS (to be obtained prior to start).
