Surgery - Transplant Physician

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a board-certified Transplant Surgeon to provide locum call coverage at a large academic medical center in eastern North Carolina. This opportunity offers predictable monthly weekend coverage, strong resident support, and a well-established transplant program.

Established transplant program performing transplants annually
Resident coverage available
Full transplant support services in place
Provider not required to remain on-site while on call
Average Census: 8 12 patients
Average Admissions/Day: 0 3
Average Admissions/Night: 0 1
Transplant Cases: per month
ICU Responsibilities: None
Code Response: No
ER Backup: No

Required Procedures
Deceased donor renal transplant
Deceased donor simultaneous kidney/pancreas transplant
Review and acceptance of organ offers

Requirements
Fellowship training in Transplant Surgery
Board Certified in General Surgery
Minimum 5 years of transplant surgery experience
Active medical license (or ability to obtain)
BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
