Facility in Hanover, PA seeking Ortho Surgery locums coverage The facility in Hanover, PA is seeking 2 3 Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeons to provide emergency department call coverage due to a turnover vacancy. This role includes ED call, floor consults, surgical cases originating from the ED, and post-operative follow-up. Compensation: hourly $325/hr Night call - $400 beeper fee Night call-back - $350/hr 24 hour call - $3000/24 hours inclusive of all hours. Position Details Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Practice Setting: Hospital-based Start Date: April 1, 2026 End Date: September 6, 2026 Coverage Type: Call coverage Estimated Shifts per Month: Approximately 8 Schedule and Coverage Call coverage: Monday Sunday Shift time: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM (24-hour call) Need: 1 2 call shifts per week Call response time: 30 minutes Call via beeper system Clinical Responsibilities ED call coverage Floor consults Surgical cases originating from ED Post-operative follow-up Average admissions while on call: 3 4 Practice Environment Physicians do not work solo APP support available EMR system: Epic Other specialties onsite include Hospitalists, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, OB/GYN, and Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine Case Mix Adult patients: 95% Pediatric patients: 5% Typical cases include: Hip fractures Ankle fractures Incision and drainage procedures General orthopedic consults Credentialing Privileges available: Full privileges Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 60 days Licensure and Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery required Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC required DEA required BLS required About WhiteCoat Locums: - Physician owned and led agency - Highest-Pay rates on the market - $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail - 100% transparent
