The salary range for this role is: $92,500 - $95,275
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Manages the day-to-day operations of a health center(s) and serves as the single point-of-contact for all facilities and safety matters.
Manages all direct reports and communicates expectations, monitors and manages performance, and provides coaching, feedback, and development opportunities on a regular basis.
Ensures the center’s compliance with OSHA, IDPH, and other regulatory agency standards in partnership with the center’s Medical Director.
Ensures the highest standard of customer service and conducts investigations to evaluate and address staff and patient compliance and related issues.
Plans, organizes, and conducts monthly staff meetings to review the center’s operations performance and related outcomes.
Ensures the coordination of workflow and daily schedules and adheres to Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) principles and practices including the implementation of daily team huddles.
Ensures adherence with organizational policies related to safety, clinical service delivery, human resources management, and quality improvement.
Participates as an active member in organization-wide quality and performance improvement initiatives.
Other duties as assigned and/or required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business administration, or related discipline required.
Minimum seven (7) years operation management experience required. Of the seven (7) years experience, at least three (3) years progressive healthcare management experience including direct people management required.
Knowledge of Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) principles and practices
Ability to create a patient-centered environment that recognizes values and advances the organization’s mission
Ability to maintain knowledge of current practices and the roles and functions of patient care team members directly reporting to the Senior Practice Manager
Ability to maintain knowledge of current practices and the roles and functions of patient care team members, on-site or remote, not directly reporting to the Senior Practice Manager
Demonstrated proficient and functional customer service and client orientation skills
Ability to handle and maintain highly confidential information with professional maturity
Demonstrated skill at analytical and critical thinking
Ability to make timely, independent decisions demonstrating responsible judgement
Effective communication skills including written, verbal and listening
Functional and proficient knowledge of various technologies including, but not limited to MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), EPIC and EHR
Ability to skillfully handle complex issues and problems as they arise
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently
Ability to demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of equity, inclusion and diversity concepts, and that they are broader than just race, ethnicity, and gender
Ability to work affirmatively with gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) and HIV positive patients
ADA Specifications
Requires ability to speak audibly and listen actively.
Requires ability to use computers, telephones and other office equipment.
Requires ability to sit for extended periods of time.
May require occasional bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
May require periodic travel; up to 40% locally.
