- Position Type: Locum Tenens (3-6 months, possible extension)
- Schedule: Weekdays, Monday-Friday, aligned with leaving order
- Shift options: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Current available shift lengths: 10-12 hours
- Weekend: Required
- Call: Required
- Minimum Shifts per Month:
- Full-time: 16
- Part-time/PRN: 8
- Consecutive shifts available
- Provide anesthesia for a wide range of cases including:
- Cardiac: CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, Mitraclip, LAA ligation, EP procedures
- General Surgery, OB/GYN/GYO, Orthopedics, Urology, GI, Endoscopy, ENT, Spine
- Minimal thoracic; very little aortic surgery; no cardiac transplant
- Supervision: 30-40% of time; 60-70% own cases
- Monthly volume: 850-950 cases; 275 OB deliveries
- Operating Rooms: 12
- Care Team: 18 MDs, 24 CRNAs
- EMR: Medaxion (orientation info provided prior to first shift)
- Board Certification: Required
- State License: Active Florida license required
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Full-time or part-time availability only (minimum shifts must be met)
- Must meet all certification and licensure requirements prior to start
- Daily shift lengths vary based on leaving order to fairly distribute longer/shorter shifts
- Site prefers consistent full-time coverage week over week
- PT/PRN shifts: minimum 8 per month; no cap on FT shifts
