Locums - California Breast Imaging Radiologist Setting: Imaging Center-based Breast CenterA highly regarded health system just north of San Francisco seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Breast Radiologist for a confidential, patient-centered locum assignment in a modern, collegial environment.Key DetailsFull-time or part-time locum coverage available (36 patient contact hours/week preferred, flexible arrangements considered).Practice in a well-established Breast Health Center serving Northern California communities.Modern facility with advanced technology, including Hologic Clarity HD and Intelligent 2D mammography systems.Clinic located in Marin County, with access to San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, and Napa regions.Supportive team culture focused on clinical excellence and compassionate patient care.Locum to permanent opportunity if desired When we have two radiologists on staff, each works four days per week, with alternating days off based on their preferences, historically Monday and Friday. This allows each physician to have a long weekend while maintaining full coverage. With this structure, we are able to support diagnostic exams and procedures five days per week.Each radiologist has their own workspace.When fully staffed with both technologists and physicians, our typical daily volumes are as follows:DEXA: 25Screening Mammograms: 60Diagnostic Mammograms: 25Stereotactic and Ultrasound-Guided Procedures: 6-10Breast MRI: 11Procedures and diagnostic imaging begin at 8:00 AM.Historically, radiologists divide the daily workload to maintain efficiency and focus.
