AssignmentDetails

Coverage Dates: June 16 - July 6
Schedule: Monday-Friday (standard daytime hours)

ClinicalResponsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with functional impairments and disabilities
Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans
Manage a wide range of conditions affecting mobility, cognition, and daily functioning
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists and nursing staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

MD or DO
Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

Or within 7 years of residency completion (ABPMR)
Or within 6 years (AOBPMR)

Active Florida medical license (unrestricted)
Active DEA license with Florida address
ACLS certification
Strong clinical experience in rehabilitation medicine

Clinical Details

Diagnosis, evaluation, and management of persons of all ages with physical and/or cognitive impairments, disabilities, and functional limitations
Ability to admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, provide consultation, and nonsurgical therapeutic treatments to inpatients and outpatients of all ages with physical impairments or disabilities

Requirements

Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida
Current unrestricted DEA license with Florida address
Current ACLS certification with maintenance of certification for the duration of granted moderate sedation privileges, if applicable
Successful completion of an ACGME- or RCPSC-accredited and/or AOA-approved residency program in physical medicine and rehabilitation/internal medicine
Must be board certified or within seven years of completion of an approved residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation
Flexibility in Schedule:
- Provider MUST be willing to work day AND night shifts
- Provider MUST be willing to work weekdays AND weekends
Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered \"Local\", and will not be eligible for this role
DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
