Role Description
This is a full‑time, in‑person position located in New Orleans, LA, for a Business Development Manager at C&C Marine and Repair. The individual in this role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, developing strategic plans to meet business objectives, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The role also includes market analysis, identifying growth strategies, and preparing proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
Qualifications
Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to identify and secure new business opportunities
Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and potential new customers
Proven experience in market research and business strategy development to drive growth
Strong relationship management and client communication abilities
Proficiency in preparing proposals, presentations, and other business development materials
Ability to collaborate with internal teams, including technical and engineering staff
Experience in or knowledge of the maritime, shipbuilding, or related industries is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects effectively
