About The Role
The Purchasing Coordinator II plays a vital role in our organization's procurement operations by providing administrative and operational support to the procurement team.
This position is responsible for processing low‑value procurement transactions, managing purchase orders, maintaining procurement databases, and generating reports to support decision‑making.
The coordinator will execute low‑value, non‑complex procurement transactions and releases to previously negotiated strategic agreements under management supervision. They will collect, organize, and analyze procurement data from multiple sources to create supply chain management‑wide and program‑specific reports on supplier cost, delivery, and quality metrics.
They will manage purchase orders through their lifecycle, including tracking, supplier follow‑up, and supporting closeout/payables processes to ensure contractual compliance. They will gather and distribute procurement documentation such as drawings, specifications, and statements of work from various data sources.
They maintain procurement databases with high accuracy by entering, extracting, and updating information to support procurement agents and maintain data integrity. They communicate effectively with procurement agents, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to resolve procurement cycle issues and help resolve procurement discrepancies related to quotes, billing, contracts, and other documentation.
Additionally, they support Procurement Agents in completing procurement transactions and post‑purchase order activities, coordinate, schedule, and lead procurement‑related meetings with team members and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative support roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for creating procurement reports and data analysis
Competency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for procurement documentation and communication
Demonstrated ability to complete low‑value procurement transactions under supervision
Experience with purchase order tracking and supplier follow‑up
Accuracy in database management and data entry
Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to identify and help resolve procurement discrepancies
Experience in coordinating and scheduling meetings
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
Experience as a Procurement Coordinator/Administrator
Advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis and reporting
Experience creating and maintaining supplier performance metrics
Knowledge of procurement systems and databases
Experience with technical documentation management
Demonstrated ability to lead procurement‑related meetings
Experience supporting closeout/payables processes
Strong problem‑solving skills related to procurement cycle issues
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams
Compensation
Pay Range: $20.72 - $28.50 per hour
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
