
Regulatory Compliance Analyst

An energy infrastructure company focused on the development, construction, trading, and operation of battery energy storage assets across U.S. power markets is seeking an Analyst, Regulatory Compliance to join its Regulatory team.
This role follows a hybrid schedule, with three days per week in-office.
Key Responsibilities
Support the preparation, submission, and tracking of routine and ad hoc compliance deliverables (e.g., RFIs, reports, filings, records) for agencies, including ISO/RTOs, PUCs, FERC, and other local, state, and federal authorities
Maintain compliance documentation and evidence repositories, including shared folders, filing calendars, tracking tools, and internal resources
Assist in developing and maintaining procedures, manuals, reference materials, and internal controls
Provide project management support to ensure regulatory initiatives and obligations are executed accurately and on schedule
Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency
Partner with internal teams (O&M, Engineering, Asset Management, Remote Operations, Market Operations) to support understanding of compliance obligations through tools and training
Support compliance readiness efforts for new projects
Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders and track follow-up actions related to regulatory initiatives
Prepare reports and presentation materials on compliance activities

Requirements
Relevant degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the energy industry
Experience with State Public Utility Commission (PUC) compliance
Working knowledge of organized wholesale electricity markets (e.g., ERCOT, CAISO, PJM, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, SPP) and associated protocols and compliance frameworks
Experience with utility‑scale battery storage or renewable energy projects preferred
Additional Skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced research and writing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Comfortable operating in small, fast‑moving teams
Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 15%)
In addition to base salary, total compensation may include bonus and equity participation.
