Job Overview
As a Lead Logistics Analyst, you’ll play a key role in optimizing supply chain operations through inventory planning, materials management, and logistics process improvement. You’ll use data to uncover trends, identify inefficiencies, and recommend strategies that improve operational performance. You’ll also work across functions to align logistics activity with broader business goals while ensuring compliance and effective coordination with suppliers and vendors. This is an experienced professional role for someone recognized as a subject‑matter expert with broad and deep knowledge of supply planning, logistics, and supply chain operations.

You’ll lead significant initiatives with strategic autonomy, solve complex challenges, and influence decisions that have a long‑term impact on the organization. You may also mentor less experienced team members and collaborate frequently with senior leadership.

What you’ll do

Develop and implement inventory planning strategies that support efficient supply chain operations and maintain optimal stock levels.

Oversee materials management activities, including materials handling and storage processes, to help ensure operational continuity.

Analyze logistics and supply chain data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities, then deliver reports and actionable recommendations.

Streamline transportation and distribution processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall logistics performance.

Partner with teams across procurement, production, finance, and customer service to align logistics strategies with business priorities.

Support regulatory and operational compliance while coordinating with suppliers and vendors on delivery performance, contract‑related activity, and process improvements.

What you’ll need

Inventory planning and stock level optimization experience

Materials management, handling, and storage process knowledge

Data analysis and reporting skills for supply chain and logistics performance

Experience improving logistics, transportation, and distribution processes

Ability to manage supplier and vendor coordination in support of operational goals

Working knowledge of applicable regulations, compliance standards, and logistics controls

What you’ll bring

5+ years of related experience

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired

Certification required in some areas

Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues using broad and in‑depth professional knowledge

Experience leading significant projects with strategic autonomy and organizational impact

Ability to mentor less experienced team members and collaborate with senior leadership

Our Lead Logistics Analyst earns between $106,180 and $178,200 USD per year. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Salary Range
$106,100 – $159,100 per year.

Work Hours
40 hours per week, regular time type.
