Customer Support Advisor (Bilingual)

The

Customer Support Advisor (CSA)

serves as the primary point of contact for customers regarding all service and parts needs. This role will primarily focus on supporting our compact construction equipment customers, ensuring they receive exceptional support with our parts and service departments.

Essential Functions

Selling machine maintenance plans, repair services, parts, extended warranties, and other management-approved products

Maintain working knowledge of Doggett Heavy Machinery products and services to provide technical assistance when needed

Communicate consistently with customers, providing updates on parts orders and service work

Stay current on product knowledge, features, and benefits for all products and services offered by the organization

Maintain awareness of parts and service competitors, as well as relevant industry and market trends

Accurately complete all sales-related documentation, including preparing quotes and collecting advance payment when required

Test and operate machinery at customer job sites when necessary

Manage customer undercarriage systems through periodic inspections and replacement planning

Follow all safety rules and regulations when performing work assignments

Always represent Doggett in a professional and positive manner

Use and maintain company facilities and equipment safely and professionally

Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in company manuals and the employee handbook

Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Fluent in Spanish and English (required)

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree from a technical college preferred

1–3 years of experience in a construction or agriculture-related role involving sales, service, training, or related activities

Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and engine components

Knowledge of machine control and guidance systems

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record

Typical Physical Activity

A significant portion of the workday is spent outdoors walking, bending, stooping, and climbing on and off machines

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

Proper PPE is required during training and field activities

Travel Requirements
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally several times per week, with occasional long-distance travel.
