About ANE Consulting
ANE Consulting is a successful construction management services firm known for delivering complex, high-visibility public infrastructure projects. As part of a major multi-year initiative supporting AECOM–Hill JV and the NYC Department of Design and Constructions Rikers Program, ANE is contributing to a large multi-site, six-year build that will deliver four new borough-based facilities across New York City.

About the Role
As Design Support, you will support the Design Lead/Manager in ensuring building designs are delivered in compliance with defined project requirements, scope, schedule, quality, and budget. This role plays a key part in maintaining technical alignment and coordination across stakeholders on a highly visible public-sector program.

You will collaborate with the selected Design-Build team, consultants, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and NYC agency stakeholders while reporting progress and supporting coordination efforts with the NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC).

Key Responsibilities

Support the Design Lead/Manager in ensuring all designs and systems comply with project requirements and goals

Assist in delivery of work packages in alignment with defined scope, quality, schedule, and cost

Coordinate design submittals, presentations, and design charrettes with internal stakeholders

Assist in managing design review processes with authorities having jurisdiction

Evaluate Design-Builder progress and help implement corrective actions as necessary

Support multidisciplinary design coordination and track technical performance

Coordinate Subject Matter Expert (SME) input and technical responses

Provide technical guidance and review integration across design packages

Ensure documentation meets established standards, schedule requirements, and budget parameters

Support technical planning, issue identification, and implementation of proper documentation and quality controls

Requirements

Bachelors degree required

Approximately 4+ years of relevant design and/or construction experience

Experience supporting large, complex public-sector or NYC agency projects preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills in a client-facing environment

High level of political acumen and professionalism

Commitment to continuous learning and development, including emerging tools and technologies

Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
