Powder Coat Associate
Location: Columbia City, IN
Pay: $21–$23/hour (based on experience) + $3.00/hour shift premium on 2nd shift
Job Type: Direct Hire
Schedule
1st Shift (Training): Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
2nd Shift (After Training): Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (Includes $3.00/hour shift premium)

What You’ll Be Doing
Prepare surfaces for coating (cleaning, sanding, masking, blasting)
Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray equipment
Operate curing ovens and monitor temperature/timing
Load and unload parts on the production line
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organized
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Record production data and report any issues
Assist with general shop duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred
Familiarity with coating equipment and processes is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
