Compensation
$21.60–$32.40 per hour.

Job Expectations

Assisted the station manager with the day‑to‑day operations of the retail facility.

Maintain oversight of station operations and staff in the Station Manager’s absence.

Provide work direction, motivation, and coaching to staff to ensure tasks are completed according to CSI guidelines and expectations.

Support and adhere to safety, security, and quality guidelines, and respond to incidents in a timely manner.

Ensure all station employees comply with wage & hour requirements.

Support cash/money handling and accountability processes.

Preserve the safety of self, employees, and others by following the CSI Loss Prevention process.

Maintain courteous, professional contact with co‑workers, customers, vendors, and the community.

Reliable and predictable attendance.

Perform all duties of a Customer Service Representative as needed.

Principal Duties

Provide work direction to staff during shifts to cover customer service, stocking, cleaning, and food service.

Assist with product inventory management:

Coordinate with other stations to limit out‑of‑stocks in the zone.

Follow CSI guidance to ensure correct volume and products, conduct mini‑audits to ensure accurate stock levels.

Support cash/money handling and accountability processes; use all transactional equipment efficiently; provide assistance/training to CSRs.

Use, operate, clean, and maintain all food service equipment; provide assistance to CSRs as needed.

Inform the Station Manager of any issues that might affect customer service, safety, profitability, or policy compliance.

Ensure all personnel and contractors comply with safety standards and use PPE as required.

Use computer programs to support daily operations, completing administrative tasks related to retail & gas sales, compliance, paperwork, deliveries, and invoicing.

In the Station Manager’s absence, keep the Business Consultant informed of operations and issues.

Perform job duties of a CSR and other duties as assigned.

People Management

Ensure all staff understand and comply with wage & hour guidelines.

Job Specifications – Required Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a fast‑paced retail, food service, or fuel environment, including cash handling and customer service.

Experience operating cash register, computer console, and related equipment and software.

Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety requirements for food storage and service.

Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.

Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to handle challenging situations professionally, exercising good judgment.

Ability to work independently and in team settings.

Strong interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.

Travel

Rare, limited to required training, zone/district training, or coverage for nearby stations.

Physical Demands

Walking and standing continuously; walking on hard and uneven surfaces; reaching, grasping, and pushing buttons.

Bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching below the waist frequently.

Continuously lift weights up to 10 lbs; occasionally lift weights up to 35 lbs; use team‑lift concept for heavy objects.

Work safely with equipment that can reach high temperatures; always use appropriate PPE.

Periodic exposure to outdoor conditions.

Periodic exposure to cleaning supplies and chemicals, salt, and spill absorbents.

Occasional exposure to walk‑in coolers at 34°F.

Must be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California, Oregon, or Washington locations.

Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work the Graveyard shift from 10 pm to 6 am.

We offer a $1.25 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 10 pm to 6 am.
