About the Position
As one of Mavis’s leaders in undercar repairs, Automotive Mechanics inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles.
Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks.
Complete state‑mandated inspections.
Change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts.
Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

Qualifications
At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum 2 years of experience or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Extensive personal tool set for performing undercar repairs.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements.
Regularly lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
Preferred: State inspection license(s).
Preferred: ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
