Job Overview:
As a DBT Therapist at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will participate in Minnesota’s leading adherent DBT program certified by the Department of Human Services (DHS). Working alongside a team of DBT-Linehan Board Certified Clinicians, you will design and implement treatment/interventions reflective of identified patient needs. DBT Clinicians carry a caseload of both DBT and Outpatient Therapy clients. This role will start seeing Outpatient patients for the first few months only and then work in some DBT patients.

Responsibilities:
Be part of a DBT Consultation team, participate in all components of adherent DBT treatment, and attend monthly trainings facilitated by DBT teammates.
Complete a mental health diagnostic assessment on new patients and ongoing assessments based on DHS Standards.
Provide high quality ongoing therapy with patients and create behavioral treatment goals alongside patients.
Co‑Facilitate 1–2 DBT skills group weekly.
Maintain complete and organized outpatient electronic health records.
Ensure appropriate coordination of care for patients and collaboration with other professionals.
Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings including case and peer reviews.
Patients will be adolescents and families and see adult DBT patients.
See DBT patients outside of group sessions on individual sessions.
Consults team meets weekly on Wed 12‑2, daytime hours with likely one early evening each week.
Requirements:
Mental Health Professional as per Minnesota State Statute 245i.04.02 regulations.
Unrestricted license (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LPCC, LGSW or LP).
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) experience strongly preferred but not required.
Compensation:
Commission Based: $58,000 – $122,000.
Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as education, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location.
