Qualifications
AA/Bachelor's Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or completion of an approved training program as outlined by Arizona Revised Statutes
Current licensure from the Arizona Department of Health Services (A.D.H.S.)
Must possess a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint clearance card.
Must be able to pass a background check upon employment.
Duties And Responsibilities
Attend and actively participate in all appropriate Child Study Team (C.S.T.), Section 504, Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (M.E.T.), and Individualized Education Program (I.E.P.) team meetings.
Complete all State and Federally required paperwork within required timelines.
Provide individual and group speech‑language services to students as described in the IEP and 504 Plans.
Prepare quarterly, or more frequent if needed, progress reports on each assigned student to include in the quarterly grade reporting process.
Complete all MEDICAID reports and requirements in a timely manner.
Participate in District training as appropriate.
Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Director of Special Services.
