Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery NP/PA ICU + Call Fort Wayne, IN (IMLC Accepted) Why This Role:

- Start Date: ASAP

- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Inpatient / ICU
- Schedule:
- Monday Äì Friday: 6:30 AM Äì 4:30 PM
- Weekday call: evenings and overnight
- Weekend: 24-hour call with morning rounding
- Preferred 7-on/7-off schedule
- Call response time: 20 minutes
- Call ratio: 1:3
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing: 30 days (temporary privileges available)
- Facility accepts multiple providers: yes Requirements:
- Active IN license or IMLC
- Board certification
- Clean history
- ACLS
- BLS
- Cardiothoracic surgery experience
- EVH experience (for PA) Clinical Details:
- Inpatient ICU and stepdown unit coverage
- Daily rounding, consults, and patient management
- Patient volume: 8 Äì10 per shift
- Admissions: 3 per day
- ICU call for patient management and transfers
- Cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
- Advanced cases including CABG, valve, aortic, LVAD, ECMO, and Impella
- Weekend rounding with nurse support
- Potential first assist and vein harvesting in OR
- Collaboration with surgeons and multidisciplinary care team
- Laptop required for call coverage Compensation:
