Overview
We are seeking an experienced and professional Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support an onsite employee health clinic serving an adult patient population. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a patient-focused environment and is comfortable supporting both clinical and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
Interview patients and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, height, weight)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records
Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments
Administer medications, including injections, as permitted by state regulations
Perform laboratory testing, phlebotomy, EKGs, and other diagnostic procedures
Assist with front office duties including scheduling, registration, and phone triage
Coordinate referrals, manage faxes, and conduct follow-up calls
Order and maintain medical supplies
Support overall clinic operations and perform additional duties as needed
Required Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Current BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a primary care setting
Ability to support both front and back office functions
