Position Overview
The marketing team at Turning Point Brands is seeking a Consumer Insights Intern. This role will work with the head of insights to help the company understand consumer behavior and preferences to inform product development, marketing strategies, and key business decisions. Interns will analyze market trends and competitive landscape, conduct qualitative and quantitative research, and translate data into actionable insights.
Essential Functions
Conduct both qualitative & quantitative research to identify consumer trends and preferences.
Analyze competitor strategies and market landscapes.
Utilize data analysis tools to extract meaningful insights from research data.
Summarize research findings and present them in a clear and concise manner.
Develop reports and presentations that communicate key insights to stakeholders.
Create visual aids and infographics to effectively convey findings.
Work with cross‑functional teams to share insights and ensure alignment.
Participate in team meetings and presentations to showcase research findings.
Collaborate with external vendors and agencies.
Part‑time, 10‑15 hours per week during summer term, ending August 2026.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 21+ years old to apply.
Interest in market research/consumer insights/consumer marketing/research methods.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
