OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - PART TIME - MISSION HILLS POST ACUTE – SAN DIEGO, CA

Mission Hills Post Acute in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Part Time Occupational Therapist to join our in‑house therapy team. Schedule flexibility with at least one day of weekend coverage. Part Time : Flexible schedule with work‑life balance.

Pay : $48 – $53 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop an appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.

Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practice to support clinical interventions.

Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.

Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness; modify services based on patient evaluation and make referrals as needed.

Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.

Communicate effectively with the supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.

Provide a comprehensive discharge summary of services per regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist.
