Patient Placement Coordinator at Providence Office Park in Portland, OR.
Full Time/ Day
The Patient Placement Coordinator has the primary responsibility of reviewing and assigning bed placements for patients requiring admission to units within an acute care ministry within Providence Oregon. This includes admissions from emergency departments, direct admissions, future admissions, inter-unit transfers, and surgical placements. Chart review and/or calls to clarify bed criteria will be performed to assure appropriate bed placement.

Perform chart reviews and/or calls to clarify bed criteria to ensure appropriate bed placement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience
1 year healthcare experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field
Bed placement experience
Registrar experience
