West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek a physician for Pulmonary / Critical Care Medicine (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor).
The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV and/or Uniontown, PA. (Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites).
The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications
Applicants must have an MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and be eligible for state medical license. Candidates must have completed an internal medicine residency and a pulmonary and critical care fellowship program, and be board certified (or eligible) in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
