About the Role
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about rehabilitation, eager to grow clinically, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will provide efficient, high-quality care that focuses on improving patient’s mobility and function. The therapist will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery, mobility, and the discharge plan.
Responsibilities
Perform evaluations of patients' physical and functional status
Develop appropriate goals based on clinical findings
Educate patients and families to support active participation in care
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, care managers, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, etc. to provide coordinated, holistic care.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards.
Contribute to a positive team environment that values respect, empathy, accountability, and innovation.
Qualifications
Candidates must be willing to work a schedule that includes every Saturday and Sunday for 4 consecutive weekends with the fifth weekend scheduled off. Must work 40 hours in a pay period, so an additional shift is needed one weekday in the pay period based on the dates identified as a need by department leadership. Our newly revised base rates are determined by years of experience with an additional $10/hour differential for all weekend shifts worked in this role. Inpatient acute care hospital experience is preferred but not necessary.
