Location:

APG, MD

Security Clearance:

Ability to obtain and maintain an Entry Secret security clearance.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Testing, or a related scientific/technical discipline.

Experience Substitution:

Alternatively, 5 years of related experience in Tactical Network engineering functions.

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with Army organization structure and Unit Task Organization (UTO) concepts.

Role Overview
As a NETMOD Lab Technician, you will support the engineering, integration, and readiness of CPE C2IN Tactical Network systems. Based at Aberdeen Proving Ground, you will develop standardized processes, maintain configuration baselines, and ensure the seamless delivery of software applications across test and deployment environments, requiring a blend of technical engineering skills and a solid understanding of Army organizational structures.

Key Responsibilities

Process Development: Create and document engineering, integration, and readiness procedures for Tactical Network systems.

Configuration Management: Maintain CI baselines, manage version controls for software deliverables, and automate CM tools.

Technical Integration: Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques to assess integration processes, making necessary modifications.

Testing & Deployment: Oversee software application delivery in test environments and perform configuration audits to ensure baseline integrity.

Collaboration: Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and technical forums at the PM Command and Control Transport and CPE C2IN levels.

Problem Solving: Analyze configuration issues and propose technical resolutions independently.

Skills & Competencies

Ability to lead integrated project teams and communicate effectively across stakeholder levels.

Proficiency in evaluating and adapting standard engineering procedures.

Professional support capabilities for complex, multi-stage technical projects.
