We’re looking for a driven and patient‑focused Wound Care Nurse in the Michigan City, IN area to deliver exceptional care under the supervision of an experienced Nurse Practitioner.
This is a per‑diem opportunity — perfect for nurses who want flexibility while delivering meaningful, high‑quality care in their communities.
What You'll Do
Provide primary skin and wound care under Nurse Practitioner supervision.
Assess, manage, and treat a variety of dermatologic and wound conditions including skin ulcers, infections, lesions, and pressure injuries.
Deliver wound treatments within established care protocols.
Document all care and findings accurately and in compliance with HIPAA in patient health records.
Monitor and track healing progress, adapting plans as needed.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure comprehensive, compassionate care.
Educate patients and caregivers on wound management and prevention.
What You Bring
Valid LPN License
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in acute or subacute care
Treatment nurse and/or wound care experience required
Wound Care Certification preferred
CPR/BLS certification
Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Strong commitment to patient‑centered care and professional growth
