Patient population includes orthopedic, general outpatient PT, and geriatric populations
Schedule options: Mon–Fri 8:00–16:30, or Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri 7:00–17:30
13-week contract
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
Outpatient and geriatric population experience required
BLS certification required (AHA accepted)
Valid state PT license required if applicable
Additional Information
Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients using specialized testing procedures, assessing strength, ROM, coordination, ambulation, transfers, and rehab potential
Develops individualized plans of care with short- and long-term goals aligned with APTA documentation standards
Collaborates regularly with PTAs to discuss patient progress and goal-setting
Applies evidence-based practice and actively seeks research to support clinical interventions
Assists with schedule adjustments to accommodate changes in departmental caseload
