The Cancer Care Service Line at Corewell Health, a non‑profit organization, is seeking a
Classic Hematologist/Benign Hematologist with special interest in adult sickle cell
to join our growing team of employed providers.
Corewell Health’s Cancer Center is a collaboration of Corewell Health’s network of hospitals, including West Michigan and community providers. We treat the most complex cancers with innovative, cutting‑edge therapies and state‑of‑the‑art programs.
Based in Grand Rapids with opportunities to practice across West Michigan, the program includes more than 150 board‑certified physicians in 17 oncology specialties and multidisciplinary teams and tumor boards. The program also offers a comprehensive radiology program with port placement.

Physician candidates must be board‑eligible/board‑certified in Hematology. Experience with clinical trials is a plus. An academic appointment at Michigan State University is available commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
MD or DO, licensed in Michigan at hire
DEA registration in Michigan at hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 120 days of hire (AHA or Red Cross)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) if required by specialty or a stress test performed within 120 days
Primary location: Lemmen‑Holton Cancer Pavilion, 145 Michigan St, Grand Rapids.
