Nursing at its best! Behavioral Health. Peachford Hospital is Atlanta and North Georgia’s most comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health facility providing care to patients and their families struggling with mental health and addictive disease. Our hospital treats patients aged 5 to 95 with all levels of care including crisis stabilization and adult, adolescent/child and geriatric psych. We also offer a wide range of outpatient services including partial hospitalization and ECT.
With a variety of shifts and schedules available, and eight different nursing units to choose from, we are certain we can find a patient population for you to work with.
Desired Qualities
an understanding of mental illness or addictive disease and its effects on people
the ability to interact with patients of all cognitive levels with histories of trauma
patience and understanding
the desire and ability to keep our patients safe...
Qualifications
State of Georgia or eCompact Multi-State Nursing License is required.
We encourage any interested RN to apply, but we have a preference for those with at least one year of nursing experience. Previous psych experience is helpful but not required.
Being a graduate of an accredited nursing program is a minimum requirement.
