Labcorp seeks a

Float Phlebotomist

to join our team in Kansas, covering Wichita, Andover, Newton and surrounding areas.

Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, hours vary from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed, including Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.

Process billing information and collect payments when required.

Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Maintain patient and specimen information logs.

Provide superior customer service to all patients.

Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 8 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Additional Job Standards

Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Ability to work in fast‑paced/high‑volume work environments.

Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Reliable transportation.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Compensation and Benefits
Float Differential: additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
