Position Information
We are seeking a Research Technician I, who under general supervision performs entry level, semi‑skilled, technical support research work involving routine tasks.
Responsibilities
Collect samples and measurement data from experiments; implement and maintain data collection and summarization of field trials.
Collect and compile data; compute quantitative measures and extend projections.
Assemble and operate technical equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Assist senior staff members in conducting major field experiments and consult on developing procedures.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Other Requirements
Ability to lift moderately heavy objects and exert heavy force; willingness to work beyond normal business hours and/or on weekends.
