Position Summary
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at our facility, you'll serve as a key medical provider within a multidisciplinary team. Under the supervision of the Medical Director, you'll assess and treat acute and chronic conditions, perform physical exams and minor procedures, and coordinate care in collaboration with nurses, physicians, and security staff.
Performing history and physicals, ordering labs and diagnostics, and managing treatment plans
Prescribing medications and administering injections, wound care, and minor procedures
Counseling patients on medical issues, preventative care, and prescribed treatments
Coordinating patient care and specialty referrals to ensure continuity of services
Documenting all clinical encounters and interventions in the EMR system
Monitoring patient conditions and participating in daily rounds and screenings
Collaborating with nursing staff and security to promote safe, effective care delivery
Guiding and supporting nursing personnel and assisting in staff orientation when needed
You'll do more than diagnose and treat. You'll educate, lead, and advocate—making a difference with every patient you see.
What You’ll Need
Graduate from an accredited NP or PA program.
Active unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in state of practice.
Active applicable Controlled Substance Registration/License/Certification in state of practice.
Active DEA license required.
Active CPR certification required.
Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently within your scope.
A collaborative mindset and a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to care.
