Responsibilities
Registered Nurses are required for 12‑hour shifts with rotating weekends. Duties include delivering nursing care to psychiatric patients (children and adolescents) utilizing an established nursing process. The position is temporary with the option to transition to permanent after 12 weeks, paid at $50 per hour with no benefits.
Location
Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center – 118‑bed acute psychiatric hospital located in Alabama, approximately 10 acres on the southeast corner of the state. The facility serves children and adolescents ages four through eighteen.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited RN school of nursing.
A diploma graduate and/or an associate degree in nursing required.
Current status as a registered nurse in the State of Alabama.
