Position Summary
IMCOR is seeking a skilled
Welder
to support our fabrication and construction teams. This role is responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling piping systems, structural components, and mechanical systems to meet project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding on pipe, structural steel, and sheet metal components
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete work accurately
Fabricate and assemble components for HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems
Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards
Assist with layout, cutting, fitting, and installation of materials
Inspect completed work to ensure structural integrity and compliance
Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
Proven experience as a welder in construction, mechanical, or industrial environments
Proficiency in welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Knowledge of piping systems, HVAC systems, or structural fabrication preferred
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)
Experience in mechanical construction or fabrication shop environments
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions
Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor job sites and fabrication shops
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work at heights as needed
