Role Description
This is a part-time position (potential to become full-time), on-site Scale Operator role based in Tallahassee, FL. The Scale Operator will serve as the first point of contact for our customers and will be responsible for weighing and documenting incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining accurate records, managing customer interactions, and ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards. The role requires close collaboration with customers, administrative staff, and other team members to support an efficient recycling process.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Phone Etiquette and clear, professional Communication skills
Basic to intermediate Computer Literacy for data entry and record-keeping tasks
Knowledge of Recycling processes or a willingness to learn quickly
Strong Customer Service skills to assist clients effectively
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in scale operations, logistics, or a related field is a plus
