Harborview Medical Center - Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy has an outstanding opportunity for a Hospital Assistant / Rehab Therapy Aide.

Work Schedule

100% FTE (40 hours per week)

Day Shift

Position Highlights

Assist physical, occupational, and therapeutic recreation staff

This position provides opportunities to work in a diverse and fast‑paced environment with a great team of therapists

Primary Job Responsibilities

Orders and stocks equipment

Managing and organizing supply areas

Cleans and maintains equipment, including but not limited to periodic monitoring, safety inspection, and regular cleaning, maintenance, and set up

Assisting clinical staff in miscellaneous tasks including record retrieval, filing, faxing, photocopying, arranging for interpreter services, charge preparation, and compilation

Direct patient care including ADL’s, exercise, ambulating or positioning as directed by the therapy clinician, and safety support during groups or patient treatment

Requirements

Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) with the State of Washington

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience

Valid American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers upon hire

Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $25.34 hourly

Pay Range Maximum: $36.28 hourly
