Licensure

• Vermont Medical License: Required or eligible

Board Status

• Board Certified: Preferredor

Certifications & Prescriptive Authority

• Controlled Substance Prescribing: Required (state & federal compliant)
• MOUD Experience: Required (Medications for Opioid Use Disorder)

Education

• MD or DO
• Completed accredited Psychiatry Residency

Experience

• Minimum: 3 years in Psychiatry
• At least 1 year in Community Mental Health
• Experience with co-occurring mental health & substance use disorders required

• Salary: $325,000 annually

• Mix of clinical care and administrative leadership
• Provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and MOUD services
• Oversees clinical standards, protocols, and quality initiatives
• Supervises medical staff and contracted providers
• Works within a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model

• Lead and supervise psychiatric and medical staff
• Provide direct patient care and maintain productivity ( 27 billable units/week)
• Oversee MOUD services and ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop and implement clinical programs, policies, and protocols
• Participate in quality assurance, risk management, and peer review
• Collaborate with leadership and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with CCBHC standards and documentation requirements
• Participate in on-call rotation
