Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles
- Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and interpret findings
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered neurological care
- Procedural Duties
- Perform and interpret Electroencephalograms (EEGs)
- Conduct Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies
- Evaluate neuromuscular disorders and peripheral nerve conditions
- Stay current with advancements in neurology and neurodiagnostic technology
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Neurology Residency
- Board Certification in Neurology (ABPN or equivalent)
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting EEGs and EMGs
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care
