An established private practice is seeking a Rheumatologist as they open up a brand new Metabolic Center to provide multi-disciplinary care (aiming for May 1 move in to new space). This is a full time permanent position which will include a base salary, RVU-based bonus, medical benefits, retirement plan and malpractice coverage. Job Description:
Compensation : $275000 - $325000 Job ID : 44209

Job Function:

• 100% outpatient position providing care to patients referred from endocrinology
• No hospital call required, all outpatient may handle telephone issues but otherwise Mon-Fri
• Work in brand new metabolic center with owner, Endocrinologist + 3 APPs for support (practice also looking to hire a neurologist)
• Normal office schedule 32 clinical hours per week + 8 administrative
• 8 hrs Mon/Tues, 6 hrs Wed/Thurs, 5 hrs Fri (expect to see 3-4 patients per hour, 15-20 min appt)
• Weekly conference each Friday afternoon to discuss cases, then wrap up the day by 3 pm
• Location will utilize eCW and have support of MAs

Job Requirements:

• Fellowship training in Rheumatology
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification Required
• NY License Required
• Russian Language Skills Preferred, Not Required (have enough English speaking patients fine to be a fully English speaking panel if don't speak Russian)
• New Fellows Graduating in the Next 12 Months Encouraged to !
