Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse located in VA. The Registered Nurse will complete oasis assessment, including conducting health assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and administering medications and treatments. The role also involves patient and family education, ensuring adherence to care protocols, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care. Additionally, the nurse will support clients in chronic disease management, post-operative recovery, and other individualized healthcare needs in alignment with Amani Healthcare’s commitment to quality care.
Qualifications
Knowledge of oasis assessment, patient care including health assessments, care planning, medication administration, and treatment protocols
Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and providing education to patients and families
Expertise in chronic disease management, post-operative care, and home healthcare support
Proficiency in clinical documentation and adherence to safety and compliance standards
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia
CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to work compassionately and adapt to the unique needs of patients and their families
Prior experience in home health care or related healthcare settings is a plus
Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the designated service area
