Long Island Speech and Myofunctional Therapy, led by Speech‑Language Pathologist Janine Stiene, serves families and individuals across Long Island and Queens. With a team of skilled therapists, the practice specializes in a wide range of services including PROMPT, myofunctional therapy, voice and fluency disorders, augmentative communication, articulation, auditory processing, and expressive/receptive language disorders for children and adults. Feeding therapy is also offered for those with texture and consistency aversions. With nine locations across Long Island, the practice partners with most major health insurance providers and offers flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend hours, ensuring accessibility and quality care for all clients.
Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow to join our expert team. The SLP/Clinical Fellow will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and individualized treatment for speech, communication, and feeding disorders. Daily responsibilities include documenting patient progress, collaborating with families and caregivers, and communicating with educators and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
Ability to demonstrate compassionate patient care with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program
State licensure or ability to obtain licensure as an SLP in New York
Strong organizational and time management skills
