Level I Trauma Center

RecruitWell is seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Neurosurgeon for a locum tenens opportunity at a Level I Trauma Center in Rockford, Illinois.

Position Overview

• Locum tenens neurosurgery coverage

• Bread-and-butter neurosurgery plus trauma

• 24-hour call with a 30-minute response time

• Inpatient rounding required

• Collaborative environment with trauma, critical care, and hospitalist teams

• NPs onsite from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

• EMR: EPIC

Schedule

• Preference for 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (flexible) - must work Sunday-Saturday blocks

• Will consider providers with as little as 1 week of availability

Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neurosurgery

• Active Illinois medical license - client is willing to consider IMLC candidates, too

• ACLS and BLS required
