Oncology - Radiation Physician

Facility in Elyria, OH seeking RadOnc locums coverage Rates: $350/hr Opportunity Highlights

• Dates of Coverage: TBD throughout the year (typically in 2-week blocks).
• Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM.
• Work-Life Balance: No call requirements.
• Setting: Outpatient only (Level III Trauma Center affiliation).
• Support Staff: 1 APP available on-site; the locum will be the solo Radiation Oncologist during the assignment.
• EMR/Systems: EPIC (EMR) and Mosaiq (Radiation Treatment documentation).

Clinical Scope & Volume The provider will manage the daily treatment vault and new consultations for an adult patient population.

• Daily Volume: outpatient treatments/consults per day.
• Required Procedures:
• External Beam Radiation: 3D-CRT, IGRT, and IMRT.
• Conventional and 3D Radiotherapy.
• Ordering tests/images and prescribing treatment plans.

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (Required).
• Licensure: Active Ohio (OH) Medical License in hand (Required).
• Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS (Required).
• Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days of presentation) is mandatory at the time of submission.

Credentialing Information

• Estimated Timeframe: 16 weeks.
• Note: Due to the extended 4-month credentialing window, early submission is encouraged to capture dates later in the year.
