Join our dynamic academic hematology and oncology practice in Boston, MA as a Locum Tenens Solid Tumor Oncologist. This is a 6-month position with potential for extension, focusing on GI oncology and other solid tumor cancer types. Work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary healthcare environment with no call or weekend requirements.
Job Details- Location: Boston, Massachusetts
- Start Date: August 2026
- End Date: February 2027
- Shift: 8-hour days, Monday to Friday
- Hours per Week: 40 hours
- 2+ years of relevant experience, post-fellowship
- MD, MD PhD, or DO degree
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Medical Oncology
- BLS certification
- Licensed or eligible for a medical license in Massachusetts
- Provide comprehensive oncology care for adult patients
- Manage solid tumor oncology patients
- Conduct new patient consultations, follow-ups, and direct new and ongoing oncolytic treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation
- Maintain excellent patient care and satisfaction
- Adhere to clinic policies and procedures
- Participate in required meetings or training sessions
- Stay current with advancements in oncology
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
