• Call Ratio: Approximately 2 weeks per month

• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 4-9 procedures per day; clinic patients scheduled every 40 minutes when applicable

• Case Mix: General gastroenterology (no ERCP or EUS)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: PA license required or willingness to obtain

• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

• DEA: Required

• Certifications: Not Specified

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience

• Other Qualifications: Comfortable managing combined procedural, clinic, and inpatient workflow

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform scheduled GI procedures and manage inpatient consults

• Provide outpatient clinic coverage as needed

• Participate in 24-hour call rotation

• Round on hospital and ER consult patients

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and support staff

• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
