Job Overview
Local contract RN – PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) position in Walla Walla, Washington. This role provides post‑operative care to patients who have undergone anesthesia, ensuring patient safety and comfort during the recovery period.
Key Responsibilities
Observe and treat patients after surgery, monitoring vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiratory rate.
Provide comfort and reassurance to patients and their families.
Act as the first point of contact for patients upon leaving the operating room.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) license, qualified to work in a PACU setting.
Experience in post‑anesthesia care is preferred.
Ready to start on 06/01/2026 for a 13‑week assignment.
Availability for a 10‑hour evening shift, 40 hours per week.
Local contract employment.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay for 10‑hour shifts based on 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
$600 travel bonus.
Day‑1 health insurance with United Healthcare.
Paid time off (PTO) plan – accrue from day 1; use during contract or cash out at the end.
Guaranteed stipend if the facility cancels you.
Extra hourly bonus for working over your contracted hours.
Guaranteed hours.
