Experienced Home Technician – Senior Home Modifications & Handyman Services (Essex, Morris, Union Counties) If you have 5+ years of paid, hands-on experience in carpentry, general contracting, or handyman work and reside in New Jersey, we want to hear from you.
TruBlue of Morristown and Montclair is seeking an experienced Home Technician (Handyman/Handywoman) to support our growing customer base across Northern NJ—serving Essex, Morris, and Union counties, with future territory expansion anticipated. We are a national franchise.
We specialize in premium handyman services and senior home safety modifications , and we’re looking for a skilled, dependable professional.
We’re looking for a technician with skills in some or all of the following areas:
General carpentry and home repairs
Senior home safety modifications (grab bars, stair rails, ramps, etc.)
Preventive maintenance
Bathroom/kitchen upgrades and accessibility improvements
Drywall repair, patching, and caulking
Ceiling lights and fan installs
Interior painting
Fence repair
Minor plumbing and electrical
Deck and siding repairs
What We Provide:
Backing of a national brand with a full marketing and sales program
Management and back-office support
TruBlue-branded shirts, polos, and gear
Approved expenses (Auto, tools, etc.) – varies by location
Intuitive software tools for estimating, invoicing, and payments
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and work truck
Standard tools of the trade
U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization
Must pass a background check
