Job Summary
The Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) serves as a point of contact for residents and employees in the healthcare department. This role ensures resident services function smoothly by leading by example, modeling care expectations, and providing support. The RSC acts as an advocate for the community’s vision and values.
Essential Functions
Healthcare
Obtain vital signs and notify the supervising nurse of deviations per the Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
Maintain and oversee clinical schedule, on‑call responsibilities.
Follow residents’ ISP and daily task sheets.
Communicate changes in resident status or home situation to appropriate supervisors.
Utilize standard precautions and infection control procedures.
Follow written instructions and request assistance when needed.
Maintain a safe and clean resident environment.
Exhibit a caring and respectful attitude toward residents and their property.
Assist with activities and encourage resident engagement and participation.
Uphold confidentiality of residents and coworkers (HIPAA).
Provide assistance with personal hygiene, changing bed linens and making beds, toileting and incontinent care, nutritional and fluid intake, dressing, ambulation and transfers, positioning, medication reminders.
Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
Miscellaneous
Participate in hiring and training staff.
Enforce and comply with PPE requirements.
Train new employees on job duties and Policies & Procedures.
Attend bi‑weekly and mandatory in‑service meetings.
Follow all community and company policies and the Employee Handbook.
Report unsafe conditions immediately.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, tasting, or smelling.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Indoor, climate‑controlled work environment.
Possible exposure to outdoor weather, chemicals, moving mechanical parts, and electrical risks.
Continuous interaction with residents and family members under stress.
Position is considered safety‑sensitive.
